DEUTA Axle-mounted Sensors
High resolution – low maintenance
DEUTA axle-mounted sensors are driven by a mechanical coupling with the vehicle axle. Impervious to dirt and vibration and practically maintenance-free, they achieve high resolutions even at low rotational speeds.
Tacho generators
Also included in our product range are tacho generators. In proportion to the rotational speed, the speed sensors produce voltage and frequency which can be directed via cable to transformers or display devices without the need for an additional power supply.
Incremental encoders
The electronic pulse generators (incremental encoders) work on a variety of principles, e.g. optical fork light barriers and Hall sensors. All axle-mounted sensors can be supplied in multichannel units. The pulse numbers, phase relationships and output circuits can be adapted to a certain extent.
